Thanks to your generosity and support, a girl can dare to dream. I have always loved lingerie. You can tell by my photos I have quite an extensive collection and I am always on the lookout for more. This is a long term goal. At the earliest, it won’t be until next year.

I want to have $50,000 of my own funding to start. I am half way there but I know the next $25,000 won’t be so easy to come by. I am not the new girl everyone has to see anymore. Had I have though of this 6 months ago, I would have that now easily. I am taking the first steps, which are to educate myself and use local resources like the Chamber of Commerce to connect with people that specialize in opening and managing small businesses. I am not spending one penny until I feel sufficiently educated about about operations and accounting.

Retail is an extremely risky business and I am well aware that I will need to take on debt to open the store I envision. Everyone has high hopes when they open their own business but they quickly sink under the weight of reality. The odds are not in my favor but with some careful planning and advise from people that know what it takes to open a business, I might be able to beat those odds.

This is not a sexy post. It doesn’t have any valuable information about the business. It’s a goal for me to focus on, a next step for me to work toward. We are always at our best when we are working toward a goal. I am not going to be a hottie with a body forever, or even much longer. The idea of finding a man to marry…doesn’t appeal to me. Maybe one of you will change my mind but I haven’t met him yet.
