I hate it here. Every single appointment I scheduled the prior week, not only flaked, but didn’t even call me to let me know. It was the absolute worst first day of travel I have ever experienced. DC Summary– I actually ended up loving DC. The city was absolutely gorgeous. Walkable, friendly, lively. I made a titty profit and had a great time. Even though my pre-books didn’t show, I got enough business there to make it a good trip. Plus I saw the African American museum and the Jefferson Memorial (from across the street). I think I saw a little bit of the White House. Everything is always better in our memories than it was when it was actually happening.
